Our pop-up cleats are different. Not like when your parents used to tell you that you were different growing up but actually… different. Our Pop-up cleats, unlike any other, are the best. It’s not even close. Every part of our cleat is CNC machined from billet aluminum and titanium. Even better is that they are designed, manufactured, and assembled all in house. Not only does this give us the ability to have incredible quality control but also makes these cleats 100 percent made in the United States.
Being designed by us, manufactured by us and made for you (nice) is exactly why our cleat keeps getting better. Our cleat is low profile when down but still strong enough to handle the largest boats. Our cleats do not wiggle and jiggle when open. That gives you a nice feel every time you open them and keeps them free from that annoying rattling other pop up cleats offer. This is thanks to Delrin rings. These rings allow our cleat to glide up and float down. When they are up, our cleats stay up. When they are down, our cleats stay down. No annoying accidental pop ups when you are on the water. They are also what gives our cleat its satisfying click to let you know it is locked in position.
From the beginning our cleat was designed to give you peace of mind after install so you’d never have to worry about water finding its way into your boat via our cleats. We went about this in two ways. First, we doubled our rubbers for maximum protection. This double x-ring design makes it so no water is getting through our cleat. No need for drainage because the water isn’t getting in. Second, we made it so that you put as few holes in your boat as possible. In order to do this our cleats are installed using the two downward stems. This means only two small holes in your boat that can easily be made with a drill. No screws, no complicated shapes to saw, just two circular holes. Installing this way makes installation easy and makes it the strongest pop up cleat on the market.
We currently anodize all of the aluminum components of our cleats to protect them from the elements. We stock brushed silver (clear) and black anodized with a normal lead time of 2 to 15 days. With an additional 30 days, we can anodize in other colors like blue, green, and red to name a few. Our anodized cleats can be painted (by you) to match your boat. Black and White powder coating is also available within the standard lead time of 2-15 days depending on demand. Other colors are available with an additional 30 day lead time.
Cleat tops (anodized or powder coated) can be laser engraved with your boat name, racing team logo or whatever you would like. Order 4 or more and it’s free, just contact us for more information.
All of our cleats come with the necessary nuts and backing plates for installation.
